The Quarter Century Question

Hell, the number of living Centennians are increasing so we will assume a person lives to be 100 years old, the equivalent of one century...very cool.

Now, you are about 25 yrs. old and suffering from what's known as a "Quarter Life Crisis."

Well I like to call it...

Quarter Century Question: What do I want to do with my life?

This is precisely the point when people begin to stress over the meaning of the career, life, existence yadda yah, it can make one go absolutely NUTS!

Listen, and I hate to sound cliche but life is about the ride, not the destination. The focus should not be on the end-goal but rather the journey. By the way, the spirit could care less about what one is "doing". How about asking yourself: "What am I being?" Think of what you want to be, meaning how you want to affect change around you at every instant of every moment you exist. Remember, the minute you start spending time trying to figure out what is best for you and what you need to do next in life, is the minute you start doing just that: spending and wasting time. Be in the moment and choose every second of your life. Don't waste it by trying to figure out the best choice to make for a future that has no certainty and in which there are many variables of possible outcomes, which, by the way, you cannot predict and could ultimately derail the very "plan" you spent countless hours trying to create.

I mean there is nothing wrong with thinking before you act, but only think about what you know already, not what you speculate could happen. Decisions can only be made on what you know at the time. Remaining in touch with your spirit, your feelings, those things that are absolute (outside of any mental construct that tends to distract us all...I have been there several times) are all you need to find the true happiness you seek. Good luck remaining clear-headed, or clear-spirited I should say, in the midst of everything around us that puts a box around how we should live our lives.

Happy Living for the Next 75 :-).
